3 Year Foundation Degree Course in Kitchen Design
Bucks New University meets industry demand for talented kitchen design specialists
In response to industry calls for qualified kitchen designers, Buckinghamshire New University is launching a new foundation degree in kitchen design this autumn.
This bespoke course has been developed in conjunction with a panel of industry experts primarily for those currently working in the industry and is offered as a blended learning opportunity which can be completed in three years. Delivered with experts from the kitchen design industry, students will work on a comprehensive range of modules to cover aspects of materials, technology, sustainability, culture and design in order to develop critical and imaginative responses to kitchen design. Students will also learn about the technical and legislative contexts of kitchen design and will be supported through close contacts with industry partners within a vibrant and challenging learning environment.

Kitchen Fitting NVQ – Qualification for CSCS card by on-site assessment
To gain access to UK building sites, kitchen fitters will need a blue skilled worker CSCS card. To find out more click here
To support installers with the programme, the KBB NTG currently holds an allocation of CITB funding. The funding is finite and will be allocated on a first come first served basis, up to the value of £1000 per delegate.
